The hotel is superbly located, straight onto the garden, with beautiful rooms that have quality facilities and equipment, providing a very comfortable and clean stay. My only complaint was the lack of suitable drawer space, apart from one high shelf in the wardrobe occupied by the hairdryer and a fan.

The staff have been more welcoming and all worked extremely hard to make our family wedding weekend a success. They dealt brilliantly with a group who had too much to drink, showing firmness and gentle appropriate humor.

Although the rooms were a bit cramped, with limited space between the bed and dressing table, the four-poster bed was supremely comfortable with cozy pillows. The service was exceptional, with incredibly attentive and friendly staff. The location, while quiet and convenient as a layover between Leeds and London, lacked nearby local shops. The dining experience, although meeting early check-out requests, ended slightly early and could have more variety. The facilities overall were good but not outstanding.
